David is a founder of Brighton Capital Management and a Certified Financial Planner™ with nearly 30 years’ experience helping families, business owners and professionals make smart, confident financial decisions.
He began his career as a trainee actuary before moving into investment management, holding senior positions at Cazenove, UBS Wealth Management, and later leading Brewin Dolphin’s Brighton office.
David combines technical expertise with a genuine interest in people’s stories – bringing together financial insight and real-world understanding to help clients plan, invest, and live well. His areas of specialism include portfolio construction, wealth planning, and clear investment communication for private clients, charities, and intermediaries.
A Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, David is also a passionate endurance athlete – a keen cyclist, ultra-distance runner, Ironman triathlete and qualified British Triathlon Federation coach.
